Old Testament Theology II

This course focuses on central topics of the Hebrew Bible which also survive in the New Testament, such as holiness, sin-punishment-forgiveness, blessing, national theology, universalism and particularism.

The course aims to develop the following competences:
  • the student is familiar with the main trails of Old Testament theology;
  • the student can make a distinction between the varying views of Old Testament concepts;
  • the student can trace the development of ideas within different traditions, up to the New Testament era;

Examination

A hallgatónak tisztában kell lennie a fontosabb szakirodalommal, és lehetőség szerint részt kell vennie az egyes tematikákhoz kapcsolódó teológiai vitában. A vizsga felméri a hallgatók témában való jártasságát, valamint azt, hogy az adott témakörben, illetve azok értelmezéseit illetően mennyiben képes reflexióra és önálló gondolkodásra.
