Abstract: The purpose of this study is to present the contextual approach within spiritual care, as well as to show how important it is concerning a person’s life and relationships, with a special outlook towards those with permanent disabilities. To this end, it sketches the history of the formation of contextual therapy and spiritual care and describes its interpretation of human reality (I). Further, it presents the most elementary features of created human existence (theological anthropology).

Does Jankélévitch identify the Source of creation with that thorne-crowned one of the nonsense of the cross? It seems that Jankélévitch is not only very close to the teaching of the church, but also identifies with its most important element, the redeeming death of Christ. And this is not only valid for the young philosopher before the War, but also for the mature thinker in the years following the Holocaust, the author of the Moral philosophy.

A hiányos emlékezet felületesség, a túl erős emlékezés azonban haragot szül. Spirituális kapzsiságra utalhat azonban, ha valaki a gonosz tapasztalatának integrálását a megbocsátás útján mintegy hőstettet kívánja véghezvinni.

The God of Jankélévitch is creative energy, eternal acting goodness and love, but it is not a person and does not personally know its creations. It does not rule, does not enter into a covenant, does not bring redemption at the cost of its own heartbreak, does not judge sins and does not forgive them, does not speak, does not give commandments, does not conquer death, does not resurrect the dead, and does not offer eternal life.

A törvény: méltányosság. A folytatás őre. És persze alkalom az önhitt moralizálásra. Az evangélium: jó hír. A lehetetlenné vált folytatás folytatásának a jó híre. És persze alkalom az olcsó kegyelem igénylésére.
