Call for Papers:

A Heart Established/Instructed in Wisdom

The Protestant Theological Institute of Cluj-Napoca and the Seminarium Incarnatae Sapientiae in Alba Iulia are pleased to announce the 4th conference of the Septuaginta Hungarica Research Project, which will take place on 8–9 November 2024 at the Protestant Theological Institute of Cluj-Napoca. The conference, by paraphrasing a part of Psalm 89:12 (LXX), is entitled "A Heart Established/Instructed in Wisdom" and will focus on the concept of wisdom in the Septuagint and its world from theological, philosophical, historical, and philological perspectives.

We invite scholars and researchers to submit proposals for papers on topics related to the conference theme.

Presentations should be 30–35 minutes in length and will be followed by a 10-minute discussion. Please submit abstracts of no more than 300 words by 30 April 2024. Accepted papers will be notified by 31 May 2024.

The language of the conference will be English, German, and Hungarian.
